Co-Author the 2024 UK Mentoring Book
The association of Black mentors believes that our collective, collaborative mentoring initiatives will help to raise the profile of mentoring within our community. We provide a free and voluntary service to mentoring organisations and practitioners with a view to promoting the invaluable work you do within our institutions, businesses and, the community at large. A collaborative approach gives us the opportunity to share best practices, have joint initiatives, and potentially support each other on mentoring programs and resources. Whilst we all have our own unique knowledge, offerings, and experiences we can nonetheless learn from each other and potentially conspire on joint bids initiatives or mentoring programs.
The majority of work we do is on behalf of our members. We provide a central benchmarking service together with administration, advertising, and hosting of a forum, workshop, and events platform. Mentoring provides an excellent opportunity to network and engage within your community and make a noticeable difference to individuals and the community as a whole.
We are in the process of setting up a steering committee to best represent the opportunities for collaborative mentoring and initiatives to raise the profile and application of mentoring within our communities. If you would like to learn more details or would like to serve on the committee then email us at gifted.blackgifted@gmail.com
If you are a mentoring organisation, practioner, mentoring leadership coach or equivalent then register with us for free, and together we will make a larger difference in our local, national, and global communities through mentoring.
We have around 100 nationally accredited mentoring organisations registered from all around the UK. We will help you find a mentoring organisation or practitioner that can help you realise your dreams and aspirations.
Funding for Mentoring is scarce as such mentoring is largely dependant on volunteers that help to organise events and fundraisers, as well as implement programs, activities and provide general support to mentoring practitioners.
Funding for Mentoring is scarce so we are reliant on civic or corporate funding as well as fundraiseing events to keep the show on the road. Keep an eye on our events page to see how you can help us fundraise.
We appreciate any donation you have in support of our mentoring network and initiatives. We accept online donations through all major debit and credit cards, PayPal, or mobile payments methods. Regular subscribers are most welcome.
